How do film sets stay organised and run efficiently?

It all comes down to the CALL SHEET. Call Sheets for film, TVC and series will have their own different versions and are usually sent the day before to all cast and crew. Here are a few inclusions that you may see:

PRODUCTION OFFICE - Details who is working on the project and how best to reach them
MAPS - The location of the shoot, any special access points and parking
BREAKS - Estimated lunch and break times [aka coffee time]
EMERGENCY DETAILS - Closest hospital and emergency services
RUSHES- Details of who is in charge of the camera and sound rushes and where they need to be sent at the end of the day

It goes without saying that a full CALL SHEET would also include call times, cast contacts, crew details, pickup locations, transport, medical etc.

Need help organising an upcoming shoot? Contact the Brick Collective and we would be happy to organise a chat!
